Exploring Appalachia
Exploring Appalachia is an immersive, creative journey through the heart of the land we live on. Over six weeks, students step into the roles of naturalists, artisans, and historians as we trace the deep story of these ancient mountains.
Activities include natural dye making, clay-work, local plant identification, watercolor and painting, weaving, songwriting, song circles, storytelling, and much more! We will regularly feature local artists that will join us and share their craft.
6-Week Fall Series: Thursdays Starting Sept. 17th
10am - 12pm at The Hearth in West Asheville
Community Cohort of Ages 8-16
Tuition: $180 | Material Fee: $25
Total: $205 per student
